Oh hi there! Here's A little about me

My name is Mindy Paradis, and I live just outside of Edmonton Alberta. 

This page started with: "I want to make this planet a better place, and I'm doing it one change at a time in my own life. Check out my first blog to learn how my journey started." -- While I still do want to make the planet a better place, a lot in my life has changed since this all started, so my focus has also changed. 

This page is still a promise to my daughters, and my word to the next generation, that I tried my best to inspire others; it has also become a space to share my stories and poems in hopes to connect with people through my writing. 

I once described myself as a hopeless optimist. While I do believe "we have the power to make a difference, and we just need a place to start", life is not always that simple. I hope you can relate to, and/or feel inspired - comforted - less alone from reading these pages.
